Public Private Partnership and Project Financing For MSMEs Seminar

The Micro Finance Unit/Centre for Financial Inclusion in collaboration with the University of South Africa (UNISA) successfully hosted a 3-day seminar for Public Private Partnership and Project Finance for MSMEs at the Royal Swazi Sun Hotel from 12th – 14th February 2018. Bringing wealth of experience and knowledge was Professor Paul Kibuuka who is currently an Associate Professor and Head of Economics & Public Finance at the University of South Africa (UNISA), and former Managing Director of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) who was also the lead facilitator at the seminar. The event was attended by a wide range of stakeholders from government departments, financial institutions (both bank and non-bank), business development providers, municipalities and other non-governmental organizations.

The Centre for Financial Inclusion is a semi-autonomous body under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to facilitate access to financial services for micro-entrepreneurs and the un-banked population through creating an enabling environment for the sector.
