At the Centre for Financial Inclusion, we believe that research and advocacy are essential pillars in the pursuit of sustainable financial inclusion for all. Research provides the Centre with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities for consumers and within the financial ecosystem
Financial literacy is a crucial component of financial inclusion as it empowers individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage their financial resources. Understanding basic financial concepts—such as budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management—enables individuals to make informed decisions that can lead to improved financial stability and economic well-being.
Through innovative project initiatives, CFI promotes the development and accessibility of tailored financial products and services that meet the unique needs of diverse populations. CFI not only seeks to enhance individual livelihoods and promote economic empowerment but also contributes to broader socio-economic development by facilitating participation in the formal economy, driving entrepreneurship, and ultimately reducing poverty and inequality.
